An experimental authorial book series built from absurd texts and surreal illustrations.
Šepot vyžehlenej reality is a series of three authorial books exploring the quiet absurdity of everyday thoughts, words and visual associations. The title comes from the idea that when reality is ironed flat, it can no longer scream — it can only whisper.
The books combine randomly generated texts with playful, surreal illustrations, creating small visual worlds that invite the reader to pause, smile or interpret the meaning in their own way. Rather than following a traditional narrative, the series works with atmosphere, humour and unexpected connections between words and images.
The project supports the tactile experience of printed books through a compact format, colourful visual language and a custom case designed to hold the three books together as one collection.
